Jubilee Hills Has More Desa Drohulu: Teja

The election bells are ringing loud and clear in Telangana as the polling is currently underway. Several Tollywood celebrities including Chiranjeevi, Allu Arjun, Jr NTR, and others have cast their votes already, and so did director Teja, and he had an interesting comment to make while addressing media.

Speaking with the media, Teja, who is known for speaking his heart out without any apprehensions, said “Whoever skips their right, and more importantly fundamental job to cast their vote can be referred to as ‘Desa Drohulu’ (Traitors). They have the time to complain that roads are not good, schools are not good, and there is water problem in their area, but don’t have the time to come out and vote.”

“The polling percentage is usually low in Jubilee Hills and it means this area has more Desa Drohulu. Everyone who is healthy enough should come out and vote.” Teja said.

Teja is known for dynamic and attention-grabbing comments. He is at it with his opinion that anyone who doesn’t vote while being able to, is cheating his country. Well, he does have a valid point to make as Hyderabad has recording meager 13% voter turnout till noon.
