As anticipated, Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal stormed the box office with an impressive start. Despite mixed reviews, the film made a significant impact at ticket counters worldwide, surpassing the day-one earnings of major blockbusters like Pathaan and Gadar 2 this year.
Early reports suggest that Animal grossed Rs 61 crore in India on its opening day. The Hindi version accounted for Rs. 50 crores while the Telugu version contributed Rs. 10 crores. Additionally, the Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam versions brought in Rs. 48 lakhs, Rs. 9 lakhs, and Rs. 1 lakh, respectively. Official figures are expected soon, but judging by the current bookings, Animal is poised for a sensational first weekend.
In the USA, Animal has far exceeded expectations, earning an impressive $2.5 million during its premieres alone. This marks the highest premiere earnings for a Hindi film and the most significant Day 1 earnings as well. Makers officially release a poster which claims Animal Worldwide gross Day 1 stands at 116 crs.
Starring Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, and Bobby Deol in pivotal roles, the film is undoubtedly making waves in the industry.
