The film industry to date has not found a replacement for the spicy siren Silk Smitha who rocked the southern cinema. But the GenZ audience may not be aware of the starlet who was blatantly sexy and dared to challenge social insincerities.
Director Jayaram announced making a biopic on Silk Smitha to bring the untold story of the actress to light. On the birth anniversary, Chandrika Ravi is presented in the role of Silk Smitha. The actress bore a striking resemblance to Silk Smitha here.
Chandrika Ravi who shot to fame with her item song in Veera Simha Reddy impresses with her look. The movie starts rolling soon. It will have a Pan India release, next year.
S B Vijay will bankroll the project on STRI Cinemas.
