Seasoned Telugu actor Akkineni Nagarjuna is looking to score another hit during the upcoming Sankranti festival after successful previous attempts with Soggade Chinna Nayana and Bangarraju. He is once again coming with a rural drama, titled Naa Saami Ranga, which is inspired by Malayalam hit ‘Porinju Mariyam Jose’.
The first single ‘Etthukelli Povaalanipisthunde’ is out this Sunday morning and it turns out to be an instant earworm because of MM Keeravani’s vintage rendition. It is a catchy and foot-tapping melody with superlative lyrics and addictive vocals.
Chandra Bose comes up with unalloyed Telugu lyrics that perfectly sink with the pleasant vibes in a rural setting. Happening singer Ram Miryala complements the lyrics and the tune with his trademark vocals that stand out for this melody.
The lead protagonist is fully blown away by the alluring charm of the leading lady and couches his infatuation through the village dialect. The chemistry between them is well depicted as seen from the colorful visuals in the song.
Nagarjuna looks fabulous and energetic in traditional avatar and Ashika Ranganath is tantalizingly beautiful as a village belle.
Directed by Vijay Binni, the film is coming from the stables of Srinivasaa Silver Screen banner.
