Only Dil Raju Wished Me – Cinematography Minister

The Telangana cabinet welcomed its new cinematography minister Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy. He took over the ministerial duties at his designated office yesterday. And already, Venkat Reddy had a hard-hitting comment to make on the film industry.

The seasoned Congress politician said no film personality except producer Dil Raju wished him yesterday, upon taking charge as the cinematography minister. He revealed that only Dil Raju called him and congratulated him.

Working closely with the cinematography minister is a must for the film industry. The previous minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav had good relations with the film industry personalities and hence, there were many perks like flexible ticket pricing and optional additional shows for films. The KCR government was also lenient for Tollywood.

Tollywood now has to ensure a similar relation with the new Congress government and the new cinematography minister, Komatireddy.

Everyone saw how a miscommunication with the AP government resulted in severe distress like ticket price restrictions and cancelation of special shows. The film industry doesn’t need anything nearly as hostile as that situation in Telangana now. Of course, it has been only a day since Komatireddy took charge, so there is some buffer period for Tollywood to extend a warm handshake with the new minister and start off on the right note.
