All these days, except for Bhagawant Kesari, all other roles of happening beauty Sreeleela have not only looked routine, but those movies have disappointed at the box office. With just a template character, one dance number and two foreign songs, Sreeleela’s appearance in movies like Skandha, Aadikeshava and Extra turned out to be routine. At this juncture, her appearance in Guntur Kaaram got extra mileage for a reason.
At a time when most of her fans are disappointed with the kind of portrayals Sreeleela is getting in Telugu commercial films, the other day released song-promo of Guntur Kaaram’s Oh My Baby, is adding new vibes to the star heroine. Especially with Mahesh Babu’s dialogue, where he calls her ‘Ammu’ and introduces himself as ‘Ravana’, Sreeleela is getting mileage for sure because the Superstar’s character trait got reflected in the heroine’s looks. After a series of flops, the actress is expecting this film to put her in the top spot and she should wait till Sankranthi for the same.
Many a times, some heroines start on a big note, like what happened in the case of Taapsee then and Kriti Shetty recently, then fail to score hits, and that puts their Telugu careers in jeopardy. Let’s see what happens to Sreeleela now.
