Thalaivar170: Vettaiyan on the hunt!

Tamil cinema’s iconic actor Rajinikanth is celebrating his 73rd birthday, and on this occasion, the teaser and title of his upcoming film ‘Thalaivar 170’ was unveiled. The film is officially titled Vettaiyan where Rajinikanth is seen playing a powerful character.

Rajinikanth, who holds the status of a superstar in Tamil cinema, continues to enthrall audiences with his performances. Continuing the success of Jailer, he seems to be playing his age on the screen again.

As per the teaser, he seems to be playing an interesting character who is on the hunt. Titled Vettaiyan, the film is directed by DJ Gnanavel. Rajinikanth’s mark swag is oozing in the teaser and it has been cut stylishly to attract the fans.

The film has been shot in various locations, including Thiruvananthapuram, Tirunelveli, and Mumbai. Apart from Rajinikanth, the cast includes Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan, Rana Daggubati, Bahad Basil, Ritika Singh, Manju Warrier, and Tusara Vijayan in pivotal roles.

Anirudh Ravichander is the film’s music director. Lyca Productions bankrolled the film.
