The unavailability of star comedians and supporting actors due to their busy schedules is not uncommon in film industries. With the cost of filmmaking increasing multiple times these days, the unexpected ‘arrests’ of sidekicks in big films are worrying the producers and directors big time.
Last week it was Jagadish of Pushpa fame getting arrested which started troubling Pushpa The Rule makers. It was rumored that they were bringing on heavy pressure and influence to bring him out so the shooting wouldn’t get delayed. Today, it is the arrest of Youtuber Chandrasekhar Sai that left a movie team in panic mode.
Bheemla Nayak director Saagar K Chandra has been directing a film with Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas for the last six months. 14 Reels is producing the movie on a huge budget and Chandu Sai will be seen in a full-length role as a sidekick of the protagonist in the movie. Now that the Youtuber is arrested under several big sections like rape and cheating, it has become a headache for the makers to continue the shoot without him.
Tentatively titled Tyson Naidu, Bellamkonda Sreenivas is heard to have pinned a lot of hopes on it after his Chatrapati Hindi remake went on to become a colossal flop. When small-time actors get a chance to shine in films, they are getting involved in unwanted issues and get behind bars. The directors are regretting their decision now and other filmmakers are becoming cautious now.
