Why Guntur Kaaram Producer Deleted Tweets?

Published by

The recent Twitter controversy surrounding the song “O My Baby” from “Guntur Karam” seems to have concluded with the film’s producer deleting the tweets. And several debates are going on social media regarding the same.

We all know that the song ‘Oh My Baby’ opened to a lot of criticism and the film’s lyricist Ramajogaiah Sastry also expressed his disappointment with the way fans resorted to the criticism. Addressing the same, Naga Vamsi shared the post-credits scene from the film ‘Animal,’ which further triggered the fans.

But, the producer deleted the tweets, and some say he did it because it would be unethical to share a pirated clip from a film on social media. At the same time, there is another version in which the film’s lead, Mahesh, seems to have spoken with the producer on the overall developments.

According to inside reports, Mahesh Babu mentioned that regardless of the feedback from fans about promotional content, it should be taken positively, and reacting in a similar negative manner is inappropriate. At the same time, he emphasized that yielding to temporary emotions could ultimately harm the film.

Even lyricist Ramajogaiah Sastry posted emotionally charged tweets, expressing his displeasure over some fans. Subsequently, Ramajogayya deactivated his Twitter account. Notably, composer Thaman remained silent throughout the controversy despite being criticized by fans.

The incident with “O My Baby” underscores the challenge of meeting high expectations for a film featuring a big star. Fans may not accept an average outcome, and reactions can sometimes cross the line.
