Salaar Is Not Prithviraj’s Debut Telugu Film!

Ever since Malayalam Superstar Prithviraj is aboard Superstar Prabhas’ new film “Salaar”, it is widely believed that the hero from God’s Own Country is making a proper debut in Tollywood. As he was appreciated for his films by Telugu movie lovers after they watched them on OTT, surely he developed a fanbase here as well. But here’s a revelation.

Apparently, Prithviraj debuted in Tollywood long ago, with Okariki Okaru fame Srikanth Sriram’s Telugu film “Police Police”. Not only the Malayalam hero appear as a villain in that film by playing the role of a corrupt police officer, he dubbed for himself in Telugu as well. Even now, Prithviraj has made sure to dub for Salaar in all the languages including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi and his native Malayalam as well.

Back then, Prithviraj didn’t get noticed for work as the film didn’t do as expected, but now, he enjoys this immense fan following across the nation for the choice of films he made. Maybe we could call Salaar the second debut of the Mallu hero in Telugu films, and it looks like he has a winner in his hand already.
