Director Sriram Raghavan is known for his talent and versatility, and his films like Badlapur as well as Andhadhun spoke volumes about the same. And he is now coming up with the movie “Merry Christmas” that has been in the making for some time. The film features Tamil superstar Vijay Sethupathi and star heroine Katrina Kaif in the lead. Here’s the twist with the trailers of this movie.
Apparently the film “Merry Christmas” has two different trailer cuts, albeit with the same content, for the Hindi and Tamil versions. While the Hindi version is faster and highlights the affair and murder mystery kind of love that happens on the day before Christmas between Katrina and Sethupati, the Tamil trailer has a bit of a homely touch to the same. In the Hindi version, there is even the lip kiss shot of the lead pair, while that was avoided in the Tamil version. This dark romantic date is surely intriguing going by the trailer, and it looks like once again Sriram Raghavan is there at it, throwing a lot of twists and surprises.
The two catchy trailers of Merry Christmas have now become the talk of the town, as this is the first time such an experiment is made with a film. “Merry Christmas” will be released worldwide on 12th January 2024, and the film’s Telugu dubbed version might not happen as per the reports.
