Ex-JD Launches New Party, Says Appu Cheyyam Tappu Cheyyam

JD Lakshminarayana, Former Joint Director of CBI, is a famous face in AP politics. As AP prepares for its general election in a few months, JD has launched his own political party and has named it Jai Bharat National Party.

JD has announced that the Jai Bharat National Party is a discourse of the conventional political parties like YSRCP, TDP, and BJP. He revealed that the main motive of this party is to bring back the forgotten point of special category status for AP.

JD has launched the slogan as well for this newly floated party. The slogan is “Appu Cheyyam Tappu Cheyyam”. This could be in relation to the current debt-heavy nature of the YCP government which has left AP in huge debt.

In the lead to the election, JD tried his options at YCP and JanaSena, hoping to get Vizag MP ticket from either of these parties. But JSP was more focused on seat sharing with TDP and couldn’t make any promises to JD, and Jagan too didn’t show much interest in the proposal made by JD. So, the former CBI boss has now launched his own party. Will he see success in 2024 with Jai Bharat Party after losing as MP in 2019 on JSP ticket?
