Nandamuri Kalyan Ram is gearing up for the release of his much-anticipated movie, “Devil,” scheduled for December 29th. In an engaging interview with gulte.com, he shared insights with Lokesh Bandi, shedding light on various intriguing aspects of the film and his future projects.

When asked about his inclination towards time-travel themes, from “Bhimbisara” to “Devil,” Kalyan Ram expressed his love for the concept, stating, “I love time travel, especially if it happens on the reel.”

Emphasizing his focus on concept-driven cinema, he shared, “Coincidentally, I like unique concepts,” indicating a deliberate choice to explore innovative and meaningful narratives.

Discussing “Devil,” Kalyan Ram revealed the film’s commitment to authenticity, opting for real locations over excessive visual effects. He believes in the power of genuine settings to enhance the cinematic experience.

Responding to queries about any reflections of “RRR” in his movie, given the 1940s concept, he clarified that each film stands independently, and the temporal setting is intrinsic to the storyline.

Reflecting on his recent film, “Amigos,” which faced a setback at the box office, Kalyan Ram expressed disappointment but affirmed his determination to collaborate with the director again.

Intriguingly, when questioned about his social media debut and insights into Jr. NTR’s upcoming movie, “Dasara,” Kalyan Ram drew parallels with the epic “Game of Thrones.” He asserted that “Devara” is more than just a cinematic experience—it transcends the scope of “Game of Thrones.”
