From Premam to Tillu Square – Anupama’s complete makeover

Mallu beauty Anupama Parameshwaran seems to be very desperate to stay afloat in Tollywood. Even though she started her career in Malayalam and shot to fame with the cult love story Premam, Anupama’s filmography has been largely dominated by Telugu films since then.

At the beginning of her career, Anupama confined herself to doing simple girl-next-door roles without offering much glam treat. She impressed with her performance as an ingenuous traditional girl in films like A..Aa, Premam( Telugu), Vunnadhi Okkate Zindagi and Shatamanam Bhavathi. Last year, she bagged a much-needed success with Karthikeya-2 and revived her low-lying career.

Of late, she upped her game in Tollywood by signing glamourous roles. With her stunning lip-lock scene in Rowdy Boys with debutant Ashish Reddy, Anupama hinted that she is ready to go for a complete makeover and do roles laden with boldness and glamour.

In her upcoming film Tillu Square, Anupama seems to have further raised the glam quotient as she appeared in a seducing avatar in all the posters and the song promos that have been unveiled so far. On the eve of New Year, the makers released a new poster in which Anupama was seen sitting on the lap of Siddhu Jonnalagadda with a hypnotizing look in her eyes. The hot pose grabbed the eyeballs of everyone.

Anupama’s oozing glamour in this much-awaited sequel has already become a talking point. It remains to be seen if she can stay relevant amidst stiff competition by doing ultra glamourous roles.

Tillu Square is slated for release on February 9th.
