Popular News Anchor Turns Sukumar’s Assistant!

Usually, many folks working in the film media often come to the Film industry with the hope of becoming something in Tollywood, like a writer, director or actor, but they end up working in the media. And some of them, after working for a while and amassing fame, move to the other side. Here comes an interesting snippet.

Reportedly, director Sukumar is said to have invited popular news anchor Devi Nagavalli, who works for a top news channel, to the sets of Pushpa 2. He wanted her input regarding the way news is reported by ground-level reporters, a sequence that opens the film Pushpa 2, whose glimpse was already released.

During that time, Devi Nagavalli is said to have expressed her interest in working as Assistant Director for Pushpa 2, though her work schedule wouldn’t allow her to cater full-time to the job. As she wanted to learn what it takes to become an AD, even Sukumar is said to have permitted her to work on the film whenever she had time.

Some insiders confirmed the same, and they are saying that Devi Nagavalli is doing a good job on the sets, and soon she might turn up doing something in Telugu films.
