‘Hi Nanna’ Debuts On OTT, But Trending In Theatres?

Exactly a month after its theatrical release, the recent film of Natural star Nani, Hi Nanna, made its OTT debut as well. While many movie enthusiasts are already catching up on the film on Netflix, it’s a surprise to see that this Sunday, it has takers in the theatres too.

Even though Hi Nanna made its OTT debut, the film is still running in nearly 6-8 theatres in Hyderabad city and there are bookings for the movie here too.

Say it for Nani’s terrific performance for the emotionally churning content of the second half, or for the catchy melodies scored by Abdul Hesham Wahab, Hi Nanna got the kind of audience it should attract. That’s the reason, some movie lovers are experiencing the movie on the big screen, even though it is available on Netflix now.

Meanwhile, Hi Nanna, directed by newcomer Shouryuv, has reached to the top spot on Netflix’s Most Viewed right now in India, while the Hindi version is at the 5th spot and the Tamil version in the 10th place on the same charts. That’s a big win for Nani as his films are doing well not only in theatres but also on the OTT platform.
