Dil Raju has responded strongly to the recent controversy surrounding Sankranthi releases, particularly the distribution of screens for “Guntur Kaaram” and “Hanu Man.” Dil Raju, who is releasing “Guntur Kaaram” in the Nizam region, faced criticism for alleged unfair distribution of screens, impacting the availability of theaters for “Hanu Man.”
Dil Raju, also the President of Film Chamber, conducted meetings with the producers of all Sankranthi releases to address the issue. However, some web portals reportedly misrepresented the news, leading Dil Raju to respond on a strong note. He expressed his frustration, stating that he has faced such controversies during Sankranthi releases for the past 7-8 years.
“I have been speaking softly all this well but I do not want to remain silent anymore. If this continues, Thaata Teestha,” warned Dil Raju.
Dil Raju also refuted claims of distributing a Tamil dubbing film (Alayan) and asserted that he postponed the Telugu release of that Tamil film, to ensure a smooth release for the Telugu movies.
