Sailesh Kolanu on being a director on Gamechanger sets

Sailesh Kolanu is one of the most talented filmmakers in Telugu at present. Having a great educational background, Sailesh debuted as a director with ‘HIT.’ With the film becoming a hit, Sailesh turned it into a franchise, and we have already watched two films. Taking a break from this franchise, he is now coming up with ‘Saindhav’ with Venkatesh.

During the promotions of Saindhav, Sailesh has opened up about the experience of working on the sets of Shankar-Ram Charan’s Gamechanger. Sailesh has been hired for a brief period to shoot some B-Roll work. Usually, in the absence of the director, the assistant directors or associate directors will be asked to shoot scenes that do not require the main cast.

Surprisingly, Sailesh has been roped in for this job and has opened up on why he was called. “It is true that I worked on the B-Roll. I shot some establishing shots, passing shots, and other small shots. Usually, the assistant directors would do it, but Shankar Sir wanted an experienced filmmaker to do it. I was approached and happily did it for Charan Anna, Dil Raju garu, and Shankar sir,” revealed Sailesh.

Sailesh Kolanu, on the other hand, is already working on the third part of the Hit franchise, which will feature Nani in the lead role. If Saindhav becomes a hit, Sailesh wants to do more films in the backdrop of a fictional city he created for Saindhav.

Saindhav will hit the screens on the 13th of this month, a day after the release of HanuMan and Guntur Kaaram.
