Viral: Shobhan Babu Resurrected Through AI!

The late actor Sobhan Babu is a stalwart in the history of Telugu cinema. Fondly remembered as ‘soggadu,’ by everyone, he left an enduring legacy in the hearts of fans. Despite his physical absence, the actor lives on through his timeless movies. Surprisingly, someone generated a series of AI-generated videos and photos, portraying him in his youth.

Although they are unreal, they look perfect. In today’s digital era, AI is transforming the way we perceive and interact with media, effortlessly creating realistic portrayals of both real and fictional personalities.

Sensational director Ram Gopal Varma shared the link to the images and videos on X, and called it a digital marvel. The video depicts the ‘Soggadu’ walking in slow motion on a beach, sporting a modern look with a chiseled six-pack body, accompanied by the iconic song ‘Komma Kommako Sannai’ from the film ‘Gorintaku.’

Sobhan Babu began his acting journey in 1959 and continued to entertain audiences until 1996, featuring in over 230 films.
