Prabhas desperate to keep his promise

When it has become very difficult for top-tier actors to have at least one release every year, pan-India superstar Prabhas surprised everyone with a promise to his fans that he will star in 2-3 movies every year from now onwards. He made this promise during the trailer launch of his mythological film Adipurush in Tirupati.

In 2023, the Baahubali actor managed to get two releases in the form of Adipurush and Salaar. Now, his fans are eagerly waiting to see if Prabhas keeps his promise or not. He has a healthy line-up of big-ticket films which are in different stages of production.

Reportedly, he is very desperate to speed up his pending commitments and ensure two releases every year. As already announced recently, his next release will be Kalki 2898AD which hits the screens on May 9th. Also, he simultaneously wrapped up some portions of his next project ‘The Raja Saab’. This horror thriller is slated for release this year end as per the director’s recent announcement during the launch of the first look poster.

Besides these projects, Prabhas will commence shooting for Hanu Raghavapudi’s war drama and Sandeep Reddy’s Spirit. He will also need to complete ‘Salaar Part 2’. There is a possibility for two of these three films to release in 2025 if Prabhas sticks to his commitment.

All in all, it would be a commendable achievement if Prabhas manages to get two releases for three consecutive years which is a rarity for top-league actors in the current scenario.
