Animal intimate scenes: Alia Encouraged Ranbir

Bollywood hero Ranbir Kapoor went out of his way to deliver an aggressive and shock-value performance in his new film Animal. But Ranbir, in spite of being a versatile actor was taken by shock when Sandeep narrated certain scenes of Animal. This was revealed by Ranbir himself in the latest interview.

Ranbir said he was double-minded about doing the intimate and gore-filled scenes in Animal. But his wife Alia Bhatt encouraged him to clear his thought process and pushed him to do these scenes.

Ranbir revealed “Alia was a source of strength while I was in an uncertain mindset. She kept pushing me forward by saying whatever I was doing was for the strengthening of my character in the film. This helped me get into the mood and deliver what I did. I discussed every scene of Animal with her and she was keeping me pumped up to perform in intricate scenes”.

Notably, Alia herself is an actress and she will certainly know what certain characters demand, so her decision to push Ranbir to do certain scenes in Animal stems from her artistic background.
