Among the Pongal releases in Tamil Dhanush’s epic action-adventure, Captain Miller is emerging as the winner. The film directed by Arun Mutheswaran under Sathya Jyothi Films impressed movie buffs with its intriguing plot and larger-than-life story-telling.
2.45 hours is the runtime of the movie in Tamil. However, the makers trimmed the movie for the Telugu version to make the narrative racy. After taking feedback from critics and cine-goers in Tamil, they removed 11 minutes of footage. So, the Telugu version is going to be more engaging.
Captain Miller is already one of the biggest earners for Dhanush in Tamil, whereas it is making strong business in Kerala, Karnataka and overseas as well. While the story is said to have universal appeal, the special appearances of Sundeep Kishan and Shiva Rajkumar will be other crowd-pulling factors in Telugu.
Asian Cinemas and Suresh Productions together will be releasing the movie in Telugu states.
