The biggest uncertainty that looms over Tollywood right now is none other than the release date shakeup by most of the big-budgeted movies. With rumours popping up and then the production houses unable to clarify the same, fans are getting shocked by the date-drama. Have a look at these biggies, that are unable to lock their dates, or come up on the locked dates.

Devara

Recently there are rumours everywhere that the delay in VFX works and composer Anirudh not delivering the song tunes led to this Jr NTR starrer moving out of the race on April 5th. Despite many speculations, the makers remained silent, which indicates that the film was postponed for sure.

Pushpa2

With reports everywhere that more of Rashmika Mandanna’s dates are sought, this Allu Arjun starrer, the sequel to blockbuster Pushpa, many are anticipating that the film might miss out on the August 15th release date. However, some insiders hinted that Pushpa 2 will come on time due to Bollywood commitments, but we have to see what happens.

Kalki2898AD

One of the biggest sci-fi films ever made by a Telugu filmmaker, Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 AD aka Project K, is set for May 9th release as a Summer treat, but some rumours popped up about the film’s postponement. Though the team is carving out the movie at a brisk pace as we speak, there is no further clarity about locking the same date.

Forget about locking the release date, there is no clarity regarding the shooting of this Ram Charan starrer which is running on huge expectations post the global star’s RRR phenomenon. Probably we can get clarity on the releases of Powerstar’s movies only after the elections in Andhra Pradesh are over.
