Recently when ace producer Naga Vamsi announced the collections of “Guntur Kaaram”, some box-office trackers accused he is giving faking numbers, by inflating them to an extent of 40-50% and miselading the movie lovers.
Talking about the same, one of the distributors of the movie, Dheeraj Mogilineni, who along with Polimeraa 2 producer Vamsi Nandipati released the film in Krishna District, responded to the collections fiasco.
Sharing his thoughts with Gulte.com, producer Dheeraj Mogilineni of films like ABCD, Dorasani, DJ Tillu, Baby and the upcoming Ambajipeta Marriage Band stated that he made profits from “Guntur Kaaram”.
“I can’t comment for others, but for Krishna District, and for the total Andhra Pradesh state where we have a huge network, I can say that Guntur Kaaram is a profitable venture for everyone. The total collection of the film would be known only to Vamsi anna (Naga Vamsi) because he only gets all the reports but no one else”, says Dheeraj.
He further added that at the end of the day, except for fans, producers and media folks, numbers are not an interesting thing for a common audience, as they don’t watch the film based on the collection figures but only because of content.
