Some actors get a lot of work owing to their acting talents but take time to get the same recognition from the people. One such actor is this young hero Yash Puri. He has acted in movies like the web film Alanti Sitralu and character role in Samantha’s Shaakuntalam as well as came up with the comedy movie Cheppalani Vundi. His new film, “Happy Ending” is releasing this Friday in theatres.
Directed by Kowshik Bheemidi, the film is about how a guy is suffering from a curse, a curse that would kill whoever woman romances him. Speaking about it, Yash says, “Happy Ending explores the concept of curses from mythology, depicting how these curses would impact a modern-day young man. Not a single minute of the film carries a message; it’s all about fun and entertainment”. With message-oriented movies not getting enough reception, it looks like the makers made sure to not get into that zone.
In one way, the trailer looks like adult content pasted all over, to which Yash says, “Why would the film get a UA certificate in that case? The film includes youthful content related to the curse’s theme but doesn’t contain adult content”. Stating that while his goal is to become a commercial hero, Yash Puri added that he has an interesting lineup, but one single blockbuster, that would cement his position. Will Happy Ending mark that new beginning for him? Let’s wait and watch.
