Exclusive: Pooja Hegde Walks Out Of Sai Dharam’s Movie

Dusky siren Pooja Hegde rose to the top in no time after making her second debut in Tollywood as a glamour queen with Harish Shankar’s DJ Duvvada Jagannadham. Later, she became the big starlet heroine commanding nearly ₹3-4 crores fee per film. However, after her shocking exit from “Guntur Kaaram”, things changed pretty badly for the siren. 

We do know that Pooja Hegde was replaced in films like Harish Shankar’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh with Pawan Kalyan and a couple of other projects. And the latest update is that she walked out from the film, Ganja Shankar, which features Sai Dharam Tej in the lead and Sampath Nandi as the director. At a time when rumours popping up that the film’s budget discussions are worrying the film’s prospects, this early exit is a kind of shocker. And what is the reason for her exit? 

Apparently, an inside source revealed that Pooja wants to do an out-and-out glamorous role only, but the leading lady in this film sits in the jail most of the time, wearing a white saree. They say that the actress didn’t like the de-glam look and hence chose to quit. On the other hand, she will be seen in a film opposite Siddhu Jonnalagadda as well.
