Mega hero Varun Tej is eagerly anticipating the release of his upcoming movie, “Operation Valentine” which is set to release on Feb 16th. He expressed his satisfaction in interacting with Air Force personnel during the shooting process and recently shared an interview with an armed forces commander as well. But it looks like, the hero’s efforts to get attention for the film are going for a toss due to technical issues.
Reports are now coming that “Operation Valentine” will not be able to be released in the next couple of weeks owing to the pending post-production works. VFX works from a Mumbai-based studio and the DI work of the movie is likely to go on till Feb 23rd at Annapurna Studios, Hyderabad. While the makers said that they might come on Feb 23rd, it looks like March 1st is a possibility in their hands or March 8th to cash on the Sivaratri Holiday. With that already packed with many releases, and missing out Feb 16 slot in Bollywood is likely to affect the film, say trade pundits.
While the creative team of the film is strategically handling the promotion, with the first single being released at the Wagah border, these days might actually hamper the buzz around the film. We have to see what happens.
