Bhagwant Kesari Remake: Anil Ravipudi Missed Vijay?

Before the elections, Tamil superstar Ilayathalapathy wanted to do a female-centric movie that would give a huge boost to his image, such that it would give push to his political dreams. And it has come out that after watching “Bhagwant Kesari”, he felt that this is the right kind of film that he should pick as that would project him as someone who would be standing for women’s empowerment after coming to power.

However, we hear that although Anil Ravipuddi met Vijay and discussed the possible collaboration for the remake, at the behest of producer DVV Danayya, this project is not materialising. Because Anil Ravipudi’s dates are with Dil Raju, Vijay’s dates are with Danayya and Shine Screens wants to produce the remake, for which a ‘partnership’ is required. As that collaboration is not coming to any conclusion, Danayya is said to have convinced Vijay that he will bring another director to do a women-centric film with him, and thus dropped the idea of remaking Bhagwant Kesari.

While Anil Ravipudi missed doing this remake, which would have landed him in the Tamil industry like how it happened in the case of Vamsi Paidipally earlier, right now directors like H Vinoth are working on a script for Vijay-Danayya movie.
