Telugu Producers Score A Hit In Tamil

Thanks to the resurgence of pan-Indian culture, there is no language barrier for film industries. The audience are watching good films regardless of the original language. This is opening new avenues for Telugu producers. In one such attempt, Dil Raju scored a box office hit with Tamil star hero Vijay in 2022 with Varisu.

Another Tollywood production house has entered the Tamil film industry now and it is People Media Factory. The buzzing production house is setting up big-scale projects at the rate of knots in Tollywood and they have entered Tamil cinema now with a small film.

People Media Factory’s maiden Tamil film Vadakkupatti Ramasamy released this weekend. The comedy film features comedian turned hero Santhanam and it initially released with not much pre-release buzz. But with positive word of mouth after the release, The Karthik Yogi directorial is managing to pull comedy lovers to theaters.

The film was made on a calculated budget so with decent box office trends, it reached hit status on the first Sunday itself. This way, People Media has made a positive start in Tamil film industry and also provided a much-needed hit to Santhanam.
