Talk Of Town: Only Announcements, But Stories Not Ready?

Certain announcements have stunned Telugu film lovers in recent times, as many producers locked dates well a year in advance. But then, the industry talk is that only announcements are made, but a full story and bounded script are not ready at the moment.

One of the stunning announcements in recent times came from ‘Baby’ director Sai Razesh, as he is producing his next with his leading pair Anand and Vyshnavi. However, the film’s shooting hasn’t started as the makers are still working on the script.

The same is the case with his next which has Santosh Shoban and Alekhya Harika in the lead. The story is said to be still being worked out and it takes time for the film to go to set.

Then comes the much-hyped film of director Anil Ravipudi with Venkatesh, a story that was pitched to Megastar Chiranjeevi earlier. They say that Anil has only a 10-minute narrative in hand, but he might take 2-3 months easily to complete a bound script. And then comes Dil Raju’s Satamanam Bhavathi: Next Chapter, which locked the Sankranthi date already, but then, a story needs to be properly worked out while the idea is there, say insiders.

It is coming out that even many other films have made the announcements but then only story-ideas are ready but nothing else.
