One of the trending announcements right now in Bollywood is none other than “Baby John” which features Varun Dhawan in the lead. However, the film got terrific attention because “Jawan” director Atlee is producing it, and his associate is directing it. And then, National Award winning heroine Keerthy Suresh is debuting in Bollywood with this movie.
Technically speaking, Keerthy will be reprising the role of Samantha from the original Theri, which is being also remade in Telugu as Ustaad Bhagath Singh. But then, Samantha’s role in “Theri” has nothing to offer, except a couple of songs and dying in the end. For the kind of actress Keerthy is, and the kind of roles she portrayed in movies like Mahanati and Saani Kadiyam, surely this is not the right debut for her, say movie lovers. Definitely, she should have got something stunning to make her Bollywood debut.
On the other hand, she hasn’t signed any big commercial film since Sarkaru Vari Paata, though she appeared in a sister role in Bholaa Shankar while proving her mettle again with a realistic role in Dasara movie. In Tamil, Keerthy Suresh ahs interesting films lined up.
