After the massive success of HanuMan, Teja Sajja- the latest PAN India actor on the block has been in the spotlight for more reasons than one. Teja surpassed Prabhas, Mahesh, Ilayathalapathi Vijay and several top South Indian actors and emerged as the most searched South Indian celebrity on Wikipedia in the first month of this year.
In the industry, it is seen that post a success as huge as this, the top tier actors charge hefty sums ranging from 70-100 crores and even tier 2 actors are charging over 10 crores and above in fees.
Going by the trend, after the records Teja has broken and the popularity he has gained among audiences world wide, a sizeable hike in Teja’s asking price even if it is at par with that of tier 2 actors is justified if he continues to bring forth films with a nation wide appeal.
Teja has been following a very diligent approach with choosing his scripts and is very likeable among the audiences. It remains to be seen if he follows the same approach going forward and what he has in store with his future projects.
