Hero Deeply Disturbed With Disaster!

The disappointment of “Laal Singh Chaddha’s” failure has profoundly affected Aamir Khan, as revealed by filmmaker, his Ex Wife Kiran Rao. In a recent interview, Rao shared that Khan’s emotional investment in the project was significant, considering it a dream endeavor that had been in the works for a decade prior to its release. Despite the setback, Rao expressed gratitude for the positive reception on social media post its OTT release, while acknowledging the need to accept both the film’s success and its shortcomings.

Directed by Advait Chandan, “Laal Singh Chaddha” is a Hindi remake of the 1994 Hollywood film “Forrest Gump” and features Khan alongside Kareena Kapoor, Naga Chaitanya, and Mona Singh.

Despite the subdued OTT release, the film faced criticism and boycott calls, partly fueled by controversies surrounding Khan’s past statements. The quiet release strategy marked a departure from traditional promotional tactics, but Rao remains appreciative of the audience’s response.
