Vijay Dashes Hopes, But Lokesh Keeps Them Alive

The combination of Superstar Vijay and dashing director Lokesh Kanagaraj has proven their mettle twice, as films like Master and Leo got hailed for the hero’s performance as well the filmmaker’s creative brilliance. However, despite the mixed talk, Leo minted huge at the box office and huge expectations were created for the sequel of this film, but only until Vijay gave the twist.

Recently Vijay announced that he will be doing one last film before quitting films and indulging in full-time politics. That will be produced by Telugu producer DVV Danayya and they are on the search for a story and director, but not definitely Lokesh Kanagaraj, who is busy with Superstar Rajni’s movie right now. Anyway, all this talk has put a full stop to Lokesh’s plans of Leo 2, disappointing the fans of Lokesh Cinematic Universe. But then, the director says, the film might happen.

During a recent interview, Lokesh Kanagaraj confirmed that he will be ready with the Leo 2 story, and whenever he gets a call from Vijay, he will surely finish the film with him. While Vijay’s plans poured water on the hopes of fans, surely Lokesh is keeping them alive. But that reminds us of a director who is trying to make a film with Pawan Kalyan here in Tollywood, but then it’s not happening due to various reasons.
