K Viswanath’s Award For Nag’s Annapurna Students

Kalatapasvi Kasinadhuni Viswanath who received many national and international recognition for his works as a writer and director was also conferred with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, the highest award in Indian cinema.

On the occasion of the birth anniversary of K Viswanth and in remembrance of his early ties with legendary Akkineni Nageswara Rao garu, his family brings an award in his name to honour young filmmakers to recognize their talent.

The prestigious annual award, Kasinadhuni Viswanath Award, was announced this year for two students of Nagarjuna’s Annapurna College of Film and Media.

Each winner of this award will be rewarded with 25,000. This initiative will inspire upcoming filmmakers to make relevant and purposeful movies.
