Talented hero Allari Naresh, who has enthralled the audience with his sweet and energetic role in Nagarjuna’s “Naa Saami Ranga” back in January, is now coming up with “Aa Okkati Adakku” on March 22nd, paving the way back to his favorite comedy genre. But the hero says he has changed the way comedy is presented.
Other day at the teaser launch of Aa Okkati Adakku, Gulte.com asked Naresh if he had brought huge changes to the comic pattern of the film provided with the fact that he didn’t want to do slapstick comedy anymore. “People are not happy with parody and spoof these days. The writing itself has to bring laughs but not double-meanings and fat shaming. The story itself needs to have comedy, but not the other way around” said Naresh.
He also added the fact that these days audiences are looking for simple dialogues that sound special, but not overboard and movie lovers are watching only pleasant movies. At the same time, director Malli of the film acknowledged that they have used the classic ‘Aa Okkati Adakku’ title because the story demanded it, and we have to see how much it pays off.
