Rejecting Tillu Square – A right move by Sreeleela

Sreeleela is nowhere seen these days as she is busy with her MBBS exams. But her name has been dragged into the news ever since Tillu Square was released. Not many know, but Sreeleela was the first choice to play the female lead and even shot for a few days. But citing the bold scenes, she walked out of the film.

Anupama Parameswaran joined the film, and there has been no looking back for her. Anupama shocked one and all with her bold scenes and played the negative role in a stunning manner. The Malayali actress faced massive trolls before the release of the film, and seeing all this, one cannot ignore but talk about Sreeleela.

Many say that she missed a golden chance to score a blockbuster hit. But seeing the role of Lily, Sreeleela would not have done justice to it, and her image would have also not suited her. She has been doing girl-next-door roles and is slowly making a transformation through her dances in films like Guntur Kaaram.

It was a career-saving move for Anupama as she was not getting a proper break and decided to get a makeover and things worked well for her. But the same would not have worked for Sreeleela, and her fans would not have digested such a role.

Walking out of Tillu Square is a correct move as Sreeleela has loads of time to do such roles, say industry insiders. She will be next seen in Pawan Kalyan’s Ustad Bhagath Singh and has not signed any film to date. Seeing all this, one thing is sure Sreeleela will surely have that feeling of missing out on a massive blockbuster for sure.
