In recent times, no other big production house has brought in back-to-back dubbing films than the popular Mythri Movie Makers. After entering the Telugu distribution sector and making a big noise with films like Salaar and HanuMan, recently Mythri released three dubbed films as well, and here is how they did at the box office.
Firstly Mythri has the much-applauded film of Prithviraj Sukumar, Aadujeevitham aka The Goat Life which was appreciated for the hero’s hard work and visuals. However, the film hasn’t impressed the general audience and the collections are not so striking.
The came Malayalam industry’s blockbuster film that grossed ₹200 crores there, Manjummel Boys. The dubbed version saw good bookings initially but the buzz fizzed out in no time. Later week, Mythri got Vijay Antony’s Tamil film Love Guru, which received okayish reviews but not great collections.
Though Mythri has given good feed to theatres at a time when Telugu films like Family Star and Geethanjali Malli Vachindi haven’t even excited any, surely the result of those dubbed films hasn’t excited the Telugu production giant.
