In a move to clear the air around the upcoming film “Devara” starring Jr NTR, Sithara Entertainments’ Naga Vamsi took to Twitter on Wednesday to address rumours circulating on social media, if the talk is anything to go by. With few media outlets shared a poster on social media handles, which announced that Sithara acquired Andhra and Telangana rights of the Jr NTR starrer.
Vamsi categorically denied reports suggesting Sithara Entertainments had acquired the theatrical distribution rights for “Devara.” He emphasized that any official updates regarding the company’s productions or distribution ventures will be announced solely through their official channels. “There is no truth in the “images” and “updates” being circulated on social media. Any official update about our Production or Distribution will be announced through us and US, ONLY. Kindly refrain from believing in rumours from any other sources” (sic), tweeted Vamsi.
Vamsi’s tweet serves as a clear message, urging fans and industry insiders to disregard any rumours not originating from Sithara Entertainments’ official platforms. However, the talk is that Sithara Entertainments is in the process of acquiring rights, while Mythri and Dil Raju are also in talks for the same. They say that Vamsi might have put the tweet to deny the ₹120 crores number and the poster.
