What Nikhil Couldn’t Do, Will Teja Succeed?

Pan India cinema and success has been elusive to South stars for a very long time. However, Baahubali made inroads into Bollywood and shattered the barriers for South. It was followed by films like KGF, Pushpa and so on. However, this is only confined to star hero films and big-budget films.

Whereas from the medium-range heroes, Nikhil Siddhartha scored Pan India success with Karthikeya 2, thanks to its content that is very rooted in Hindu culture and also the timing of its release boosted its success. Teja Sajja’s HanuMan repeated the feat and scored Pan India success as well. Again the film’s impressive content, super hero Hanu Man coupled with its timing of the release (coinciding with Ayodhya Ram Mandir inauguration) have made wonders for the film at national level.

Interim, Teja Sajja has started his next Pan India film ‘Mirai’ where he plays super hero Yodha who aces Japanese Karra Samu aka Stick Fight. The film revolves around King Ashoka and his Secret 9. Now, all eyes are on Teja’s second attempt at national level. Earlier, Nikhil’s second attempt Spy which has a plot connected to patriot Subash Chandra Bose, failed to work. The film turned out to be a disaster both in Telugu as well as in Hindi. Unfazed by its failure, Nikhil did not give his Pan India plans and is coming up with ‘Swayambhu’ and ‘The India House’ and his most awaited ‘Karthikeya 3’.

If Teja Sajja scores success with ‘Mirai’ being helmed by Eagle director Karthik Ghattamaneni, it will be a big achievement for him. As Teja is super confident, let’s wait and see what is in store for the film.
