Kalki Remunerations ₹250 Crores?

Ever since the film “Kalki 2898 AD” materialised, which was previously called Project-K, the general talk is about the remunerations of the films, as a stellar cast is part of it. Even now, Bollywood media circles are busy calculating the budget of the movie and are making some alarming revelations about the same. 

In fact, it got widely spread that Superstar Prabhas is charging nearly ₹150 crores for this movie. And then we have heroine Deepika Padukone, who is said to have charged ₹20 crores as her paycheck. Even the likes of Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan for their character roles charged the same ₹20 crores each. Other heroine of the movie, Disha Patani is said to have pocketed ₹5 crores from the project. In all likelihood, if we included the remuneration of other cast members as well, it looks like nearly ₹250 crore was spent just for the actors.  

Going by the talk in film circles, it looks like the makers have spent nearly ₹500-600 crores to carve out this film. While Prabhas’ stardom would surely bring back the investment, producer Ashwini Dutt and director Nag Ashwin might have believed huge on the content of the film. With the teasers living up to the expectations, surely Kalki is worth every single penny poured into it.
