Salaar 2: Prashanth Neel To Give Unexpected Shock?

Last December, Prabhas and director Prashanth Neel’s action-packed film ‘Salaar’ hit screens to average reviews but decent collections. With Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran and Shruti Haasan in pivotal roles, the movie’s Part 2 is said to be taking off immediately. But the recent industry buzz suggests that plans for the sequel are on pause now.

According to the grapevine, ‘Salaar 2,’ is indefinitely postponed. Director Prashanth Neel is reportedly set to collaborate with Jr. NTR for a new project before diving into ‘Salaar 2,’ with filming slated to commence post the release of their upcoming venture.

For unknown reasons, Prashanth is said to have decided to bring NTR’s film forward rather than focusing on Salaar 2 at the moment. We have to see what finally happens, but then, it will be a shocking piece of news for Prabhas’ fans, if Salaar 2 gets postponed.

Meanwhile, Prabhas is keeping busy with multiple projects under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers. He is currently wrapping up shooting for ‘Kalki 2898 AD,’ directed by Nag Ashwin. Once this is complete, Prabhas is expected to jump into filming Maruthi’s ‘The Raja Saab’. Later he might kickstart Hanu Raghavapudi’s movie, which will be followed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit.
