How Mrunal Convinced Her Father On Intimate Scenes

Mrunal Thakur is one of the happening stars in Indian cinema. She had back-to-back hits in Telugu with Sita Ramam and Hi Nanna. But sadly, she faced a massive flop with Family Star, which features Vijay Deverakonda. The film is now streaming on Amazon and is being brutally trolled.

Not many know that Mrunal Thakur found success very late in her career. She started with TV serials, turned into a big-screen heroine, did many films, and finally found success in the last few years. However, not many know that Mrunal Thakur had to reject many films due to intimate scenes.

Speaking in an interview, Mrunal says that it would become quite tough to let go of big films due to intimate scenes. Mrunal adds that her father was saying no to films that even had a lip-lock scene. This made her lose films with big stars as well in Hindi and Malayalam cinema.

But after a point, as she was losing films, Mrunal made her father understand that such scenes are part and parcel of filmmaking and she would not do scenes that are way too bold. Now she is singing films that have intimate scenes, which are quite necessary for the film.
