Oops! Janhvi Kapoor Lists Childhood Home on Airbnb

Bollywood fans, rejoice! You can now stay in the stunning Chennai mansion that served as Janhvi Kapoor’s childhood sanctuary. The sprawling property, once owned by Kapoor’s legendary mother Sridevi, is now part of Airbnb’s exclusive “Icons” listing, featuring unique homes of celebrities around the world.

“This home has always felt like a sanctuary, and I want to share that same feeling with my fans.” The mansion, a testament to Sridevi’s exquisite taste, boasts four acres of land, offering a private and serene environment. While details about the interiors haven’t been released, a glimpse provided by Kapoor to Vogue India in 2022 showcased the luxurious and artistic décor. However, fans of Sridevi are not happy with this decision.

While the Chennai residence will be available for booking starting May 12, 2024, fans of the late Sridevi are saying that probably Janhvi should have left the house untouched. They feel that by renting out Sridevi’s legacy this way, she’s doing no good to her mother. “Just for some quick bucks, high payment maybe, Janhvi should not have decided to rent the property. It’s a memory. Maybe she should have made it into a museum” a netizen commented.
