Former IPS officer Kuppuswamy Annamalai is one of the most influential personalities in South Indian politics at the moment. He contested for the first time for the Parliament in the recently concluded elections and is waiting for the results.
Annamalai contested for Parliament from the Coimbatore constituency, and reports say that a biopic is on the cards. During his stint as a IPS officer, Annamalai is fondly called the ‘Singham’ there. Annamalai joined Tamil Nadu BJP in 2020 and became the youngest president in TN BJP.
With the rise of Annamalai in Tamilnadu politics, some filmmakers feel that it is the right time to cash the craze of the politician by coming up with an interesting biopic.
As per the speculations in Kollywood, Vishal is reportedly in talks to headline the project but it is too early to arrive at a conclusion as he himself is trying to gain political mileage by entering politics.
The complete details of the same will be out soon.
