Friday Box Office: Six Films Vying For Attention!

The Telugu box office is gearing up for a massive clash this Friday, May 10th, as a staggering eight films release, promising a thrilling medley for moviegoers though the election fever and IPL are not letting anyone look towards theatres. But then, some struggling heroes, some newcomers and others have locked this date. Let’s have a look at them.

One of the most talked about films in this Friday’s box office race is Nara Rohith’s political film “Prathinidhi 2”, directed by TV5 Murthy. The trailer sounded to be quite political and supporting some parties, and we have to see how it fares out at the box office.

Then comes Satya Dev’s long pending Krishnamma, which has Koratala Siva presenting it. A concept film like Aarambham promises a thrilling adventure, while the dubbed-film Satya is also making it to theatres. Apart from these four films, the other big one in the race is the re-release of Sekhar Kammula’s Leader.

While these five films are on one side, Joining them is the Hollywood film Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, which has already registered some good bookings in a few A-centres. Let’s see which one of them could actually get attention, grab collection and makes a splash.
