Mantra Of Telugu Star Directors— One At A Time

There is one common quality right now if we look at the top directors of the present day in the Telugu Film Industry. The likes of SS Rajamouli, Sukumar, Trivikram and even Sandeep Reddy are also following the same formula. Our star directors are cooking only one script at a time, and not running after many projects at the same time.

If we take SS Rajamouli, only after he wrapped the total promotional campaigns of RRR including the Oscar campaign, he sat on the script work of Mahesh Babu’s film.

Also, the director has no intention of thinking about what will be his next project after wrapping this film.

At the same time, currently, Sukumar has only Pushpa 2 in hand, and he hasn’t locked either story or a hero for his next.

The same is the case with Trvikram, who hasn’t locked any hero during Guntur Kaaram times. Currently, he’s writing a script for Allu Arjun and only if that doesn’t work, he will think about another hero, they say.

At the same time, though Sandeep Reddy locked some ideas and locked heroes like Prabhas and Allu Arjun even before ‘Animal’ got released, he started to work on Spirit script only after he was free with the release of the film in hand.

Looks like almost all the big star Telugu directors are following this Mantra, while Tamil star directors are even getting the script for their next ready when they are shooting their current project.
