‘Mental Peace’ – Music Director Getting Divorced From Singer Wife

Popular music composer and actor, and also legendary AR Rahman’s nephew, GV Prakash has been discussed for his personal in the last week. With rumours everywhere that the talented composer and his talented singer wife Saindhavi are separating, finally the composer gave an official statement too.

On Monday night, GV shared with the media, “After much reflection, Saindhavi and I have decided to part ways after 11 years of marriage, For the sake of our mental peace and betterment while preserving our mutual respect for each other”. He requested the media for privacy to allow them to come to terms with this decision. Before getting married in 2013, Prakash and Saindhavi dated each other for nearly 10 years right from the school days. They were blessed with a daughter named Anvi in 2020.

While GV is currently busy with multiple Telugu and Tamil films, as a composer and as a hero as well, Saindhavi used to sing songs in Tamil and Telugu and went inactive after the birth of her baby. She sang more than a dozen superhit songs in films like Premadesam Yuvarani from Sakthi and Sootiga Choodaku from Ishq.
