Double iSmart – Neither Positive Nor Negative!

Puri Jagannath’s last film, LIGER failed at the box office. The director disappointed everyone big time but with the announcement of Double iSmart, he tried to win the audiences’ love once again. But, the latest teaser from the film does not look like Puri has a winner in hand.

iSmart Shankar, starring Ram Pothineni marked his first collaboration with Puri Jagannath. The film emerged as a surprise hit for both in their respective careers. When the film became successful, they decided to make a sequel for the same. At the time of the second part’s announcement, everyone is confident but the latest teaser ruined some hopes.

The teaser did not generate any buzz on social media and in the film circles. The teaser hoopla did not last for a long time on social media, at least. Everyone compared it to the first part’s teaser by default and this time, the disappointment hit them.

However, the icing on the cake is that there were neither negative nor positive reactions. It is a dangerous trend in the film industry. If something gains a positive attention or negative attention, it would serve as a promotional material. But, when something fails to create a discussion, it would be tough for the makers to take it to the public.

We have to see if the makers would consider this feedback and try to come up with something that would awe the audiences.
