Directed by Kabir Khan of 83 fame, the film tells the motivating story of a man who displays great determination and courage. The makers launched the trailer, revealing the film’s core theme.
The film’s trailer tells the story of a person who wants to win a medal for the country, from his childhood. However, everyone ridicules him that he is a loser. He wants to represent the nation in the Olympics but joins the army. But, he got disabled during the war in 1965. Still, he overcomes all the hurdles and makes a comeback successfully.
The film’s trailer depicts a biographic style, and it has nothing to hide. The central theme of the movie is right open to everyone. Kartik’s stunning physical transformation amazes everyone, and we have to see how he convinces as an actor in this as he takes up a different role in his career.
The film is inspired by the real-life story of a sportsman and paralympic champion, Murlikant Petkar, who went on to become India’s first Paralympic gold medalist. Chandu Champion is set to release in theatres on 14th June, 2024.
